Data: To Buy or Not to Buy

At Laasiki, we love the power of email marketing. We believe it’s one of the best tools that companies can use to boost the impact of their digital marketing strategy and achieve their goals. We also have an entire post about why it’s a good idea


However, this post is NOT a refresher on the benefits of emails but rather, the data. When we talk about email marketing, there are several times we get asked, “So would you send out our emails to the database you have?” and it always amazes us how companies are so focused on sending out the email and not thinking about who is receiving it.


The answer to that question is no. We do not have our own database that we send our client emails to as we believe in organic list growth as opposed to buying a list.

A prospect recently asked me that question and then went on to mentioning how another agency emailed her services to their database and it was a waste as they were not her target audience. That right there is the first of many problems with buying a list.
