Our 4 Favourite Social Media Campaigns of all Time

Favourite Social Media Campaigns

Social media is an amazing platform for brands to extend the reach of their campaigns.

Here are a few of our favourite campaigns that we found to be quite influential. We have included a few recent ones and some classics that have never left us.

1. Heineken - #OpenYourWorld

According to studies, Heineken actually caters to various personality types. Keeping this in mind, the brand decided to run a campaign alongside a non-profit The Human Library that unites those with differing viewpoints as opposed to them being divided.

Heineken has does a brilliant job in getting the message across with their social experiment campaign.

2. Emirates

Emirates is a well-known Middle Eastern airline that’s trying to break into the American market.  How do they do this? By getting Jennifer Aniston on board (pun not intended) to give potential customers a tour of the airline from First class through to Business.

The airline went a step ahead by getting the message across that their economy class is just as comfortable as First when they show Jennifer Aniston not wanting to go back to her seat! Definitely sends the message of comfort if nothing less.

3. Always - #LikeAGirl

In 2014, Always set out to create a campaign that leveraged on their support for girls and young women. The #LikeAGirl campaign certainly did that. It redefined what the term ‘like a girl’ meant and allowed girls and young women to feel empowered.

4. Evian - Live Young | Baby&Me

This campaign from 2009 in our opinion, will never get old! The concept of staying young despite being older is one that everyone can relate to and frankly speaking, they want to. Babies was unquestionably a good route to go down.

The first video here went viral and Evian still continues this campaign till date!
